Deepwater-Energy have signed the agreement!

Today Deepwater-Energy, municipality Doesburg  and the water board Rijn en IJssel have signed the project agreement for the realisation of the hydropower plant behind the weir of the Oude IJssel in Doesburg. Two Oryon Watermills of each 250 kw generate 1.800 MW electricity on annual basis. Water boards have the ambition to be energy self-sufficient for 40% in 2020 and the Oryon Watermill can contribute to this ambition. The location in Doesburg is for the Oryon Watermill a great demonstration project to show the innovative technique to interested parties all over the world. It is a great location for the public interest. The Oryon Watermill will be set in business at the end of 2016.
